2025 Athlete Information

The tryout process will begin Monday, August 11 and conclude Wednesday, August 13. Cuts may be made throughout the process. All players will be informed of their team placement and role by the end of the day on the 13th.

Athletes must be available between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM each day of tryouts. There are no make-up tryouts—missing any part of the process will impact team placement. Do not schedule appointments, trips, or events during this time.

Per Anoka-Hennepin district policy, 7th and 8th graders are allowed to try out but must be skilled enough to make the JV or Varsity roster. We strongly encourage families to honestly evaluate their daughter's current skill level before attending. Tryouts are a competitive selection process, not simply an opportunity for experience.

Ages

Girls in grades 7-12 may try out for the program. Athletes in 7th and 8th grade are only eligible to be selected for JV or varsity.

Team Store

Order your OPTIONAL team gear:

Another shop will be opened after final teams are decided.

Extra Costs

Families should anticipate a booster club fee, which helps support program costs not covered by the district. This includes expenses such as equipment, additional coaching staff, and team gear.

Fundraising Expectations

All athletes are expected to participate in fundraising. This helps keep booster club fees low and supports the volleyball program’s needs—equipment, coaches, and gear. Common fundraising roles include setting up and tearing down nets at tournaments, working concessions, and running admissions.
